RSS and images

Why is it that some news feeds like Engadet, for example, will include images in the feed, but others won't. I use Newsfire as a standalone RSS reader, and I have Sage plugin for Firefox 1.0. Is it due to what type of news feed the site is using (i.e. RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0, Atom)? I have the CB blog set up, but it would be nice for it to have the images included for each posted article.

it all depends on the settings the webmaster makes for the RSS feed. you can have just the titles or the whole article without images or the full thing. the reason many people limit the RSS feed, because they prefer people to come the their website, so that they can comment, read comments, see other happenings, click the ads, etc. i'll make the RSS feeds of CB full ok?

Thanks Ivan! You know, your site has way more stuff that's interesting besides the RSS, so I don't think you have much to worry about.
