Hey as a HUGE fan of the clash, I've got to say... this just isn't working.
Just doesn't have the right feel. The original sandinista art isn't exactly inspiring, so take a look at the more iconic cover albums they produced... London Calling & The Clash (self titled) albums come to mind. If you want to dig a little deeper take a look at superblackmarket clash, dig on that spaghetti western vibe! I see you've picked up on the type of London Calling in the lower left but I don't think that's enough.

Over all this seems too clean and the distression on the type is too generic. Can you introduce red, or is this a xeroxed poster?

Also to me the fist screams rage against the machine.
