Sans Serif Font Suggestions?
3dogmama (1637 points) | Tue, 2009-05-05 16:39I'm currently in the initial stages of laying out a 12-page brochure. I wish to use a sans serif font with this design and am considering using Franlin Gothic as I've been overindulging waaaaayyyy too much with Helvetica of late.
Any others you would suggest I try?
Thanks in advance.

we use myriad pro, which is an adobe CS font, as a corporate marketing standard. it's not bad.
i've always had a love affair with trade gothic, which is my normal "go-to" first font (outside of work).
I'm always partial to it. Myriad Pro is cool, but seems pretty underused.

Hmmm... Benton Sans perhaps? Kind of really depends on what the brochure is about.
Good question. The theme is education.
I'll check out Benton Sans, along with the other great suggestions here.
Thank you!

I tend to use ITC Stone a lot. Nice clean font with good metrics.
It's a little different and there are a lot of variations.
I wasn't familiar with Brown.
Nice font.
Thank you.

I LOVE Apex New, but Gotham is also quite nice.

Oh, sweetie, no! *pinches his cheeks* Surely this is all in your mind. Now run along, and don't let your father hear you swear like that.

Avenir, Frutiger and Myriad Pro. Will also use arial so it can seemlessly go to the web.
Yes, I've been considering a more web-to-print font to maintain branding.
Thanks.
