theneemies (14 points) | Wed, 2008-10-22 07:43Based on your useful feedback to the original critique (http://creativebits.org/webdesign_critique) I've updated the design to use a dark background for the sidebar. Any thoughts as to whether this change is an improvement, and which background you prefer?

No doubt whatsoever that either of these is an improvement.
I lean towards the lighter one, as the darker one competes with the logo too much.

I also tend to lean towards the lighter green. I think the dark is a bit too much, although the image isn't the best, so it is hard to tell. I think it still is a classic, airy design, but the contrast is a definite improvement.
Am off to update the theme to use the lighter green background now.
