dirkdirka (14 points) | Mon, 2009-02-23 05:44In an effort to stand out a little and get away from the norm, we are wanting to say away from the typical reds and blues of the security industry. This company installs security systems for residential use all the way up to large corporations. They use cutting edge wireless technology to protect whats most important to their clients. They really wanted a badge and I thought the "S" for security seemed strong and military like (aka protection).
Any help would be appreciated.

i don't know why it bothers me, but i don't like the S in the shield looking significantly different than the S in SMI. they're so different it's distracting.
hey dirk! maybe you could still keep the "S" in the shield, but maybe the "S" im "SMI" could me a more squarish one? to match better with the one in the Shield. I like the direction you are going with the "S" in the shield because i think it gives it a bit more depth. I agree about lining up the "security management Inc." with "SMI" and reducing the badge size to match "SMI" ;)
