Selecting same tint in Illustrator

I stumbled upon a post in your forum about someone being exasperated not being able to select the same tint in Illustrator from the 'Select> Same' menu. The consensus was this could not be done.

As a little help: it can be. Simply use the 'Magic Wand' tool.
Check the 'Fill Color' box and specify the tolerance. Zero tolerance will of course not tolerate any difference at all.

You can now select objects that have exactly the same tint.

There is also an option in Preferences>General where you can select this.
