Sensenova logo
roquette (48 pencils) | Wed, 2010-02-17 14:34Sensenova is a newly created company specialized in sensory development and analysis.
Its job is to analysis -- using different techniques -- human senses (touch, smell, taste etc) to characterize products (soap, shampoo, perfume etc).
We did several logos, but we like more these two logos.
Thank you in advance!

A
yes I'm brazilian xD
i agree that A is much better (B is way too busy and reliant on light screens).
i can't put my finger on it, but to me the mark in A is missing something. or something's off. it may just be the way the shapes all come together at the bottom.
If I have to pick - I'll take A.
B is too literal and will be a production nightmare every time you try to use it.
eh?
To me it looks like a logo for sanitary napkins/tampons...or a douching product.
I'd explore this logo more...maybe try getting more primal with your style. Sorry. jmo
EDIT: I keep returning to this. Even if you went floral with it you'd be up the same creek. Maybe for shampoos, soaps, etc. you'll need to have a fluid shape denoting the senses like what you've presented here.
Sybil might be back....

Taste: looks like a tongue.
Sight: See the words, mark.
Hear: Could be a set of lips talking.
Touch: 'sense' self-explanatory
Smell: has a floral aspect to it.
Okay.
A it is.

i wouldnt use two different colors in the name. my first perception was "sense nova" as opposed to sensenova
I perfer A. However I feel it comes to soft over. It does not communicte fully what it is you do. Plus where the three elements form the illustration come togethor could br cleaned up.
When you reduce the logo to a smaller size check to see that the thin lines of the illustration are still visable.
Hello everyone,
Every time I post something here, I have a remarkable experience!
Thank you for all your words.
1. you need to make a kerning adjust on all letters, principally "o v a" interval
2. don't know if was intentional, I guess so xD
I feel a strong "avon" feeling as typography as when you read backwards.
yes I'm brazilian xD
