OMG, that looks so junky and plastic and redneck and kitschy.
i love it!
i would say it has flavour and its straight to the target.
"sheep & wool" text looks perfect.
"festival" could be tweaked better.
the only real problem i got with the poster is the so elegant serif font for the copy. that does not belong in this poster. plus its too faded.
it looks like you started crazy, but got to be a pussy in the end.
get it up BOY!
usually on posters you need to see the dates, like big and messy.
and these posters tend to be very crowded, because they want everything
to have the same importance.
and is just a shame to "hide" words like "sheep shows" and "sheep shearing".
i would say go on with the hand-painted font style.
fill the bottom part up, get it messy and crowded.

always outnumbered, never outgunned
this was a project i did last year. we painted directly onto pictures we printed. i didn't have time to hand render the rest of the type, but it is in the making for my portfolio. thanks for the feedback
It's interesting.
Still... I have no desire to find out what a sheep and wool festival even is.
I could see doing something here with shearing areas of sheep for type...
Or shearing the sheep with the dates & info...
Sort of a play on that great sagmeister poster (link below)

Good luck.
