Shoreline Logo (again +1)

Hi all, I appreciate your help with this! I think it's almost there!

For anyone that wants to see the transition, you can see the wounded here: www.jaretth.com/Shoreline. Art D, special thanks.

Thanks again!

It looks about 100% better.
That blue against the grey is not a good look, but assuming it would usually be against white it'd look better. And still not sure about the wings/sail like shape above the 'i'.
The colours also look a little dull, but I guess bright bold colours aren't always suited.

Throw this on a white background for better viewing. Also I think there's a stroke that needs removing.

Glad to help, common.

Yes - let's see it on white. I liked the shell for the dot on the "i" too. Do one with the stroke and one without so we can see both. I was imagining the letters just split in two - but now I'm not sure if the stroke helps or not. It will definitely make printing a problem imo. Also think the tagline is too big.

Love those colors though - the blue and sea foam green. You totally nailed those imo.

Thanks!! I feel confident that this is close.

This logo isn't on a background, it's just CB.O's HTML backing. I'll serve it up on a white platter with no stroke to see how it looks then.

Edit: You probably knew this, but if you click on "original" it comes up on white.

Uhh... yeah, yeah... I knew that. I just didn't think about doing it. :-)

Yes, it looks better - but let's see it without the stroke. That stroke is definitely going to be a problem - especially at small sizes. You also need to kern it out a bit - especially the "lin" - that will be crashing together at small sizes. Big improvement though.

I think you need to let the wave end high, now its an off going line, very negative.
I like the sails, they represent an moving boat, maybe use that as a logo, and not take the name Shoreline so litterly. also drop the gradient and remove the white line, it looks like they sell fish.

This style is becoming very popular, check out the recent re-branding here to see the new logo for igs.

more and more people are using this wavy line in logos these days.
It looks good but i think that it will become dated very quickly.

16 billion colours and you choose the one i cant create !??!
