Terrible terrible fonts. No contrast, too light, bad Photoshop filter on the lighthouse, cliches are the least of your worries.

It looks like a London UNDERGROUND logo without a sollid font, and stupid shading on the ring.
Compare it to other logo's, go in to it and why the gray background? (same question was asked me, now returning..:)
Wow, I've never even taken the Underground - it looks just like it. I was going for a life saver (actual, not the candy), hence the stupid shading.

Even if you decide to go with this, it needs a lot of work.
Your lighthouse is way to detailed. Most likely because you've taken an image of a lighthouse and applied Photoshop (or similar) filters to it, instead of drawing it. I remember when I started out I was enamoured with all the embossing and bevelling filters in Corel Draw. I very soon learned that this is not how you design a logo.
You need a simplistic concept. Right now you're all over the place. What's market got to do with lighthouses and life belts? You need contrast - dark vs. light.
