*sigh* [off topic] - I'm getting tired of people trying to bomb this city...

Yes, it's tiring indeed. Look at the bright side. You're not hurt.
Very true.
Strangely I would have been around that area last night had I not got a last minute job from a client that I ended up working until 4am on.
!
I've narrowly missed three in the last ten years including 7/7 when I was on a bus 20m away from the one that blew up...
I'm just bored of it all now.
The joys of 21st century living.
You should start critiquing their blowing-up capabilities. They would run off with their tails between their legs like all the poor saps in the critique section. ;)
It's like a super power really. What is plugz' kryptonite anyways? Small kittens? Babies cooing? A five year old girl, "Plugz, I painted this, what do you think of it?". The world may never know...
lol that post cheered me up no end, although you did just make coffee come out of my nose but that's my own fault for sniggering and drinking at the same time.
My kryptonite?
I'm going with Tequila as whenever I go near it I invariably end up slumped in the corner unconscious with no recollection of how I got there or what happened to the last 2 days.
;o)
Plugz, stay safe! Your humor is a welcome addition to this site. :)

At least someone gets it...
not to say that it's easy living with a threat of a bomb every few months, but...
imagine being Iraqi right about now...

I won't have you making out that my apathetic boredom of bombs is any less important than a few million people killed for oil.
How very dare you.
;o)
I hear that a second car bomb from the same vicinity in London was found after being ticketed and towed (with bomb in-tact) to a nearby car park.
Maybe they should sack most of Scotland Yard's terrorism unit and hire more tow truck drivers.

to take "W" over there for a while—maybe until 2008?? I'd swap Brown for "W" any day....Hang in there. It could have been worse—they could have succeeded in their mission.
God, what has happened to this world??? Scary.

"W" is what happened to the world. You gotta give him credit. Very few people can change the world so much in 8 years. Scary indeed.
Strangely, although Blair led us in to war with Bush I have much more respect for him than Brown and hving this on the handover of power is a little strange as somehow Blair was always reassuring in his statements, where as Brown is a little emotionless and stiff.
Having said that, Blair had to deal with tragedy very soon after he began his premiership with the death of Princess Diana so has far more experience addressing the public in such situations and I guess we're used to him.
Somehow though I feel far less safe during these bombings than I did under the premiership of Mr Blair.
yeah, he's stiff cause he's scared sh*ts that all hell is gonna break loose on his first week at the helm... i'd be scared stiff too. lol
hope all is going well, or at least better for ya bud...

..so all good so far.
I just can't stop watching GB's wobbly chin as he talks.
You'd think he'd have had surgery for the jowls before he came to power.
I don't trust men with slack chin skin.
oh i dunno, canada's old prime ministe Jean Chretien who had half a paralized face and couldn't properly speak either of the national languages
or say, a guy who used to be a coke addict of a drunk that bankrupted a bunch of companies and now goes by a single letter so that he won't forget it as easily. cause remember kids, he's "the decider, and the decider makes decisions", sometimes he has to look it up on "the internets" while using "the google"
i'd take a wobbly chin over either of those.
lol
