Very clean and sharp. I like how the news protrudes into the main image. Don't forget to flip that image btw, it feels like I'm looking at it in the mirror.
That window at top will be flashed, in fact that will be the only flashed portion of the site as opposed to all of my older sites. I am trying to get away from 100% Flash sites.
It will either carry rotating work or be some kind of direct sell piece, emotive grab etc.
Maybe one I think too over the top :
[FYI had problems parsing www links automatically]
www.yahoo.com
And will someone please rip this apart? :)
Howdy! Another designer here weighs in. Just don't go to my site because it's in DIRE need of a redesign.
It's not immediately clear what you do--your website looks like a sailing website! I'd recommend fixing that as quick as you can. Otherwise clean and sharp and professional. Maybe start with a highlighted project in the flash window at top?

but i like that site too... regardless - looks solid.
WOW! You're right. I hate to say this, but anybody who has ever gone to the golf site is going to accuse the Redwood site of ripping off the PGA. Even the colors are the same.
To be honest though, not many sites out there are totally unique. And FWIW, I like the "Over the top" design much better.

This is a variation on Todd Dominey's excellent approach to integrating flash into HTML pages. No the colors are not the same, and the concept is borrowed; the site is not ripped off. Other ideas, Wolfgang Bartelme [http://www.bartelme.at]
Regarding everyone's input on the sailboat, maybe I haven't made myself clear, which is why I blured the picture.... This is a dynamic window with either an emotive sell piece or rotating splash of recent work.
Appreciate the honest criticism.
Very clean and sharp. I like the teaser text idea under the "About Us" and "Services" subheads. The color combinations are also quite pleasing. I could stay there for awhile.
Nice & Elegant... rd1 is better imho :)
Great Stuff. Looks good, remove the sail boat for sure...
I like this one better with the curved corners.
altough I like it a lot..it did remind me of the PGA
web site...big time...I loved that PGA site, it's all done in CSS
by the famous CSS guru guy...geez what's his name???? I can't think
of it right now...
