A site for sore young artists?

I have a young friend who isn't satisfied with DeviantArt for displaying her paintings. She makes prints available for sale there. She wants to be considered more mature and professional than she feels there. The quality of her work more than supports this. I'd love to give her some suggestions, but that's not my thing. Any ideas?

If she wants to sell her art maybe she can try creating a shop at Etsy? I don't know if that will prompt her to feel more professional and mature but the crowd there is different than in DA, so maybe that's worth checking out.
