SLVR Illustration
This is a project I had to do for my Computer Graphics 1 class. We had to illustrate a mechanical object in Illustrator. It took me a long time because I have never used the program before. (Now I love it though.) Please comment and don't forget to check out the attached full size version.

Thank you so much for the comments. I'll be sure to do some more work like this soon. And yes Apfhex, this was my first time in Illustrator. My school is known for teaching everything you need to know about an app fast. I had 2 weeks to learn Illustrator while doing this project. If you have never heard of Full Sail (my school) check it out at fullsail.com. Now we've moved on to After Effects so you'll probably see a video up here in another 2 weeks.

Nah, I enjoy designing and that's all there is to it. I do it for the thrill, not to be taken seriously.

Your Illustration is great. however Im not sure the type at the bottom, "talk listen enjoy" should be so big and bold. But Again let me stress your illustration is AWESOME! Good job.

Awesome illustration mate, you might have to email me on how you did the mesh because im starting to teach myself illustrator, thats if you wouldn't mind making a little tutorial? Never know, Ivan might stick it in the blog, or let you blog it. I am going on to study digital media at university after i finish my graphic design course at the end of the year.

my roommate in college was obsessed with gradient meshes and he pulled that one off in about 2 weeks..
i'm showing you this to shed light on just how far you can go not to anyhow or way discourage you. i think you can get this good very easily judging by what you've already showed us.
