Small idea about posting critiques
Anonymous (not verified) | Wed, 2006-05-17 15:36How about having a small "countdown timer" when posting a time critical critique?
Most of the time, I do not have enough time to get proper feedback from CB and then re-work a piece because of a tight deadline.
Getting decent feedback from you guys and then working on suggested ideas takes usually like two or three days. Its no use if the client will decide tomorrow and approve something. I will either get the feedback too late or I wont have any time to improve the piece. And receiving good suggestions and ideas from you really just hurts when you cant do anything with them.
Im thinking something simple. When posting we could have an input field where one can enter the expiration date in hours.
Deadline for this piece: 40hours.
Everytime someone sees the topic will know how many hours are left until the piece should be delivered. Its just a matter of calculating the time left by using the original posting time and the manually entered deadline.
The critique will not effectively really expire, get deleted or locked.
Its just an extra info which should help people know that their input can really make a difference on the final piece. And maybe encourage them to comment it. And you could have normal critique posts without deadline timer.
What do you ppl think?
