Here's a sneak peek at next version of Creativebits..
I thought it would be fun to let you members have a look at a part of it as a little gift before the weekend.
We've been working hard and long time on next version of creativebits, but I´m sorry to say that we´re not ready yet to launch it, but hopefully we're getting there soon by time.

Nice. When do we get to see the rest? ;)
I can help implement these things into Drupal.
nice form, but there is no password reminder link…
underneath - a single line of text for the link would be enough, just a lightish grey. problem solved ;)

what about the question sign after the password field?
I dont follow se, where are you referring to?
Do you mean where 'remember me' is? If so, 'remember me' isnt really question therefore not needed imo.
Please elaborate.

The question is: Lost password?
sorry se I really dont see where you're going with this.
Yes the login should have a password reminder/lost password feature, and all that would be required for that is a single link of text/link. The choice of words, grammar or punctuation is in that line of text doesnt really matter if it is clear- it's only a link dude ;)
I thought you was talking about something else.

I think what he's thinking about is putting a question mark next to the password field (to the right), and you can recover your password by clicking on it. Just a (?) button is better than a "Lost Password" text. :)
that's right
Cheers Mackie, I now see what you mean Se,
Well when I resend the design over to Tigerstorm ( as the login box design is actually my design ) I'll include the question mark too.
i'll rework that and send it over to T

Looks great. I like it!
Based on my experience, after achieveing some decency in look of a web site, it doesn't matter how much more "sleek" you can make it. It doesn't change anything to the end users. What matters is content! I am not new here either, but I must aadmit that CreativeBits has been lucking some activities. Topics appear quite seldom and half of those that appear are some beginners tips and tricks on MAC OS X. Decent content is a challenge and it costst much more to get than just redesign a site.
We have different ppl doing different things. And, it is all for fun. Nobody is getting payed for anything. Not even me, google ads don't even pay for hosting. So, we take our time and post when we can.
Yes, it would be good to have more blogs posts on CB, but writing good blog posts is hard. You have to make nice graphics for it, or in the case of a tutorial, well made, instructive screenshots. Often stuff written in an article has to be researched for accuracy, and whenther it really works the way we think it does.
Blogging is just like creating anything. You can make a shitty drawing of anything in under 2 minutes. We could well fill CB with reposts from other blogs and boring news you read everywhere else. But what would be the point of that? I know that there haven't been a lot of posts on CB lately, but would you like it better if we'd post uselss crap?
If you look under the help menu you will see that you can become a blogger here on CB, so if you think you can help write, go ahead!
Mackie is right on this one it would be sleek and it would be functional cause it wont crash with the desing of Tigers layout...
