Something for nothing...

As seen on another forum I frequent:

We are starting a VoIP company in Canada, and are in need of some creative designing and writing.

Immediate Needs (within two weeks):

Company Name
Logo
Service Name
Company Image (Colours)
Slogan
Business Cards

Less-Immediate Needs (within 6-8 weeks):

Website
Brochures & Flyers
Newspaper Ads
Magazine Ads

We would like to have this done by the same person. I am looking to have several people submit several ideas for company names, image, and logo. There will be no compensation unless we use your work. The person who is selected will hopefully be used for all projects.

He later added that the *winning* designer would recieve $1600 Canadian ($1360 US) upon completion of the work.

I know that everybody has seen this type of thing *ad nauseum* around the old internet, I just thought this was a little extreme given that they don't even have a company name to use as a launch point. I guess the sad part is that eventually, he will find some one to do it for that wage, it just won't be me.

Oh well, back to work...
