there are 3 elemnts which I have infused to make the logo-
1)the Dove
2)the peace sign (hand with 2 raised fingers)
3)the olive branch which the dove is holding
The three concepts are decent, but you might be trying to pack too much into one logo. Plus that oilive branch is way too small to be seen at smaller sizes. This looks REALLY amateurish. Like high school level. Like special needs high school.

Looks like a snail minus his shell. (perhaps the shell got used for your other logo?)
It sounds like this event has already happened and this logo was used anyway?
Enough with the snails already.
the type needs consideration a lot of consideration.
from a customer point of view i can say it does look like a snail, if i think hard enough i can see the dove but i dont feel connection between the mark and the text, in fact i had not even noticed it as part of the logo, it looks like an explanation or something.
The logomark is a good starting concept, but could use some more work:
Try increasing the size of the olive branch so that it holds its own as an element of the design. You might also try a stronger green.
The dove element feels very awkward, contorted into the shape of the peace-sign like that. Push the basic shape further, simplify it more to match the basic icon-style of the peace-sign.
As someone says above, the typography needs a lot more attention. Work on making a stronger association between the words and the logomark.
i really like what youre trying to do. its a really ambitions idea, and you get somewhat close to pulling it off. but sadly youre falling into none of the elements being readily identifiable and the whole thing looking like something else - the snail... and personally, i kind of saw a bunny.
id like to see you give it another swing or two before giving up
Thanks a lot all.....this logo has been already used for my college conclave.......I am new to this forum and wanted to know what you professionals thought of it...thank you all for your honest opinions
:)
With a little work - I think you have something. The idea is almost there. The execution is way off - but can be fixed imho.
