Critique

What this company does is obvious. Although I tried to pursue my client to stay away from such a generic brand name his focus is, I guess, that specific. Here's the logo which will be implemented in 4 color process.

I think it is cool. Two things I would work on:
1. Try making the white band with the type in a stronger color. Like white type on dark green.
2. The hills less symetrical.

I suggest the open tracking needs to be consistent, the "& GRASS" seems much tighter. Also, kerning is way off in several places, specially on the 'PR" and 'GRAS".

I like it! Very cool. I would try something different with the text though. Maybe a solid blue or something with the text in white. I really like the illustration though.

small size

Have you taken into account the LPI on the 4 color prints? I worry the little bubbles won't show up too well on small scale prints. This kind of thing would benefit from custom colors, if budget allows.

Otherwise, I agree with previous comments on kerning, etc, and I really like the graphic, it's lovely!
