I had no idea the earth was filled with a light grayish brown colour! XD . . .At first glance, I thought this was a dinner plate. Time to start over.
Also, I think if you are making a campaign to stop global warming, you should make it pretty believable for people that are on the fence about the issue.

We can slow the pace of global warming by taking various measures to reduce dependency on fossil fuels. But it still won't be enough to stop global warming. To actually stop global warming will require the development of technology that extracts CO2 from the atmosphere and sequester it as rock mineral.

Personally I thought that the general consensus for global warming was that the earth was getting hotter from the outside -> in, not from the inside -> out due to a depleted ozone layer. So therefore this logo is the wrong way around..
What good is a website going to do when government organizations are discussing this at the highest level? Is it another 'turn your lights off, don't uses CFCs or we will all die' government funded website that is covering up the fact that we are running out of oil (energy) and they don't know what to do when we do?
