http://www.streamlinenet.co.uk/wh.php
i am thinking of getting the unlimited package and buying for two years (not the bulk one) I want to get off .mac and get my own co.uk address for a proper website and a private email address. I have the option between windows 2003 server or Linux. Which of these would you recomend? I switched from windows nearly 2 years ago and have never touched Linux!
Also, it doesn't say mac anywhere on the site so would i still be able to host my site with this provider? they look really good.
Thank you in advance,
Liam

The question between linux or windows hosting pretty much boils down to "How are you going to use your hosting"
Scripting
If you're going to be scripting with php, mySql, then go for the linux hosting.
If you're going to be scripting with asp, sql, visual studio, then go with MS.
The sites you've built on your mac, are they xhtml / css / ajax sites? These will work on either hosting, so it just goes down to the backend scripting.
Personal opinions and experience
I've only ever used linux servers for my hosting, mainly because they're cheaper, seem to be more reliable, and that I'd rather script with php/mysql/ajax over asp etc.
Anyone here on MS hosting to help comment about the benefits of MS Hosting?
