Table Stroke Gaps
ddham6337 (7 pencils) | Wed, 2008-04-30 18:56I am trying to create a table without horizontal lines but each column has vertical lines. Every place where a horizontal line would cross a vertical line there is a blank space so that the vertical line is not solid all of the way down.
What setting am I missing?

Make sure you color the horizontal lines with "PAPER" and not white. You have to select the hz and vt lines separately in the tables panel.

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. Who would have thought it would be something so simple?

It is working in some cells and not in others. What am I doing wrong?

I am assuming this is InDesign.
Under "Table" Menu select "Table Option"
A window pop up with 5 tabs across the top for various customization.
Select "Row Strokes"
Under Alternating Pattern on the top select any one of the option except none
After that you should be able to switch color option to "None"
or alternately you should be able to change weight to "0"
Make sure you do both First and Next alternating style.
That should do it.
