I have reworked my logo from my last attempt and made my logo into what I think is the letter (a). Does this say Apple to you! please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I feel happy with the logo but I feel I am still not there with the design of the actual Business Card, should it be vertical, horizontal, rounded corners. Could someone give me a little direction as to the layout of the card. Thanks

Yesterday, the soon to be government here in Chile, presented the new logo for official use on all government documentation.

According to spokespeople for the new government "the image of the coat of arms represents a return to our [chile´s] roots combined with the legend "Gobierno de Chile" (government of chile) in a modern design that simbolizes a spirit of work and future" (roughly translated)

So far there hasn´t been much designerly discussion surrounding the new logo, so I figured that I would get some outsider perspective on the subject... needless to say, maybe, that I have my doubts about ¿how well the new logo reflects the values the spokespeople claim?

Please comment, I´d appreciate any input...

attached is the old logo, implemented about 10 years ago.. which in it self seems like a short time for a government logo...

This is for my in-laws. They have a family cabin and asked me to come up with some ideas... The cabin is located in northern Minnesota USA and is lovingly called the red fox inn. It has a rustic feel but is somewhat modern at the same time. The people with the decision making abilities are varied(7 different people! eek!) Hence the many different styles of art work and fonts. Attached are sketches.
