I wanna know why my brainstorming stopped at getting alot of words i cant connect them to get ideas?

Is it just me or has this site been broken for a crazy long time?

Hello fellow designers,

I'm usually involved in print and website design. However I was asked by one of my clients to design a display for a trade show (not that this is not a printing job) and I have frankly never designed such jobs before. I usually price my projects based on my hourly fee. The display details are these: 112" x 92" and full color. I appreciate if anyone who has designed these projects before can give me any pricing guidelines, thanks!

Tuned in last night out of curiosity. Subway was the client. It's worth a watch if you want to see how the agency wheels turn or if you just want to watch ad folks squirm when they present their ideas - good, bad, incredibly ingenious or incredibly stupid.

where do you go as your primary source for stock imagery?

I stumbled upon a post in your forum about someone being exasperated not being able to select the same tint in Illustrator from the 'Select> Same' menu. The consensus was this could not be done.

As a little help: it can be. Simply use the 'Magic Wand' tool.
Check the 'Fill Color' box and specify the tolerance. Zero tolerance will of course not tolerate any difference at all.

You can now select objects that have exactly the same tint.

Just got off the phone with Quark. Here's the situation, last year I bought a new computer after using my G4 Powerbook for 10+ years - and I've upgraded all my software except for Quark. Basically it's been one of those things on the list I haven't gotten around to doing. So today is the day. I go to the website, look at the products page - full price is $999, upgrade price is $349 for version 9.2. The one I own (on my G4) is version 6.5 - 10 years and 3 major upgrades back.
