Temporarily export clipboard in Photoshop
ozskry (61 pencils) | Thu, 2005-06-23 09:59Hello all,
Is there a way to temporarily export the clipboard in Photoshop? I always uncheck the "Export clipboard" option in the Photoshop preferences to avoid memory problems when working on large files. But, sometimes, I need to be able to copy an image from Photoshop to paste it in another software (Graphic Converter for example). It's very annoying to open the preferences, check the option, close the prefs, copy the file, re-open the prefs, uncheck the option, re-close the prefs, etc.
So, I repeat my question: Is there a way to temporarily export the clipboard in Photoshop?
Thx,
Cary

I seem to have the opposite problem, photoshop is always telling me it is too large to export the clipboard when switching between programs even if I don't want to use what is in the clipboard.
So maybe you would be ok to leave it on all the time. maybe try it and see if your machine slows down on you.
This is exactly the reason why I unchecked the "Export clipboard" option. To avoid the annoying "too large to export" message.
sorry, yeah that is really annoying, you click then it always drags you back to photoshop and you have to click again. It's like PS is begging you to stay.
