Work on the website hasn't even started yet - this is just a preliminary idea.
(10.12.85 is my date of birth, by the way)

Ten 12 eighty-five is a very long name and hard to remember. ten12 would be enough. Work on that rather I suggest!
yeah, I realise that its a long and somewhat cumbersome name - but using just the ten12 section would completely defeat the entire point of using the idea of my date of birth as a name.
I thoroughly understand what you mean though, but I want the focus of the website/identity to be personal to me - which is why i chose my date of birth.
I might as well just use One2 if I was to use ten12 - it has a much lesser meaning. although of course it still does represent my date of birth, it wouldn't really be clear just by the use of two numbers, and the lack of a digit (namely the year) I feel, would take too much information away.
I could also plump to using a variation on the idea - something like 10twelve85 or tentwelve85, but I feel examples like that look much more cluttered than the one i've come up with, ironically.
I could, of course thoretically just use my name instead of the date of birth idea - but I feel that would be far too generic, expected and unoriginal.
