i'd like to recommend this logo for the upcoming easter :D
Have you checked out their archive from past years? Check out 1999. At the bottom they show what their logo looked like when Google was beta. Great example of how a different font and bevel style can completely change the appearance of a logo.
sorry for the rude joke. yes, i've checked. although i'm a fan of google, apparently i don't like even the current logo they have.
