The elements don't really seem to mesh. The fonts are off and the graphic tongue at the bottom doesn't really work with the realistic style of the front.

i think your biggest problem is that you show absolutely ZERO sensitivity for type.
why - did you choose the fonts you did?
why - is cute stuff italicized?
why - is the phone number in a rough handwritten font?
QUESTION: do the fonts that you chose say "cute" to you?
they say cheesy metal band and plasma cutter to me.
i think a good start for you would be to go down to your local bookstore and buy a couple books on typography and logos.

Don't use a photographic element in a logo. It should be all vector for resizing purposes. It should remain 1 to 2 colors so it can be changed to greyscale easily, or screen printed. No parts of the logo should be going off the art board - Meaning, if you stick that logo in the middle of something, you're gonna have an awkward looking cut-off tongue. Outlined type is also generally a negative. And the logo should be readable at 1" tall as well as at what you would consider the default size.
