i like the name of the firm. "barefoot" maybe because i hate wearing shoes!
it seems to me the name was chosen to sound natural and comfortable.
this logo does not say either of those things to me. i cant help but see a very large person bending over in the grass with his a** pointing at me.
although kinda gross, i guess that image is somewhat natural?

I saw an arse too. I would start over with the mark, it's not working for me at all. Maybe step away from the idea of using a foot? No need to make something obvious more so. Also, it's a huge/heavy right now, try simplifying and balancing the mark with the name.
My $0.02, anyhow. :)
The curve of the leg makes me very uncomfortable. Very!
Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.
I repeat what I said before: the "foot" idea isn't what's coming through here. I see something fat and hunched over in a most unpleasant way. I think you might want to go more for the essence of what's meant by "barefoot" (leaving the street name aside for this exercise), rather than being so literal. Either that, or be more literal so we see foot and not arse. I'd strongly recommend focusing your effort on the option of capturing the "freewheeling" essence -- but not by turning a calf and foot into a wheel. I agree, that's disturbing. Also, try working just in black and white. I think you might be getting a little too hung up at this stage on the gradients, etc.

1 bare foot has 5 toes.
MEDIA has 5 letters....
Agree with the above comments. I'd revisit the entire concept and stay away from mooning gnomes.

a good symbol would be an artwork around "Toe" that may replace the logo
