Change font size in Firefox
Ivan | Sun, 2005-12-11 18:34I'm sure everyone is familiar with the Apple - "+" (Command - "+") and Apple - "-" keycombo to change font size in a browser window. But did you know that you can hold down the Apple key and use the scroll bar to increase font size as well? I'm not sure if it works with all mice, but it certainly works with the mighty one.

Works with the trackpad as well in powerbooks and in many browsers, not just Firefox. :)
What does your avatar means?
It's kanji (Chinese signs used in Japanese) and in this case it would mean "peace". :)
It works in much the same way on Windows too.
(Unless you have one of those highly-configurable drivers and you modify the setting.)
I dont know if its because i have a couple of plugins installed ( saft and pithhelment ) but if you do shift & + theres no maximum font size.. it just keeps going... and if you press shift & - it resets it to your default font size.
Could someone try that out? ... make your font huge with apple & + and then press shift & - to reset. It would be good to know thats default with a standard safari browser.
Pimp your safari baby!!

You mean scroll wheel on your mouse, not the scroll bar on the browser, right? Using the scroll bar on the browser just wouldn't make sense.

shift + wheel control BACK and FORWARD browser commands in my pc. (FF?)
Yup, you probably already know about this but the scroll + cmd (or ctrl) , and cmd + "+" all work in ffx source view... and in safari's too!
Gotta be handy when debugging eh ? ;)
