Trinidad and tobago calendar scene road safety
kuma23 (18 pencils) | Wed, 2009-01-28 15:55Hand drawing and then outlined in coral trace then transported to photoshop for the final light and shadow using CS 1. its so tedious does any one know a simpler way working on my 2010 calendar and its just tedious. you can see the full calendar drawing 2009 road safety tips in my facebook group would be posting up some more stuff soon. but seems to be a little too crowed, needs more room to breath. In regards to your work procedure, I'd do everything by hand, in marker (black lines Scan it, bring it to Photoshop, duplicate the layer, Multiply, and colour th ebottom layer (remembering to save a copy of the layer hidden)
I'd also get rid of the gradients in the smoke, and draw it in instead. Heck, I'd get rid of all gradients and do them manually.

Good start, but you need to work on shading. Everything looks like plastic.
