turning off bluetooth with wacom tablet attached

i quite new to os x and was wondering if somebody here knows a solution to this:

i'm using a the mac usb keyboard and a wacom intuos3 to controll my g5 that has a built in bluetooth module. i recently noticed that bluetooth was turned on all the time although not needed. now the problem is os x doesn't let me turn it off manually giving me an error that says i'd loose my input devices (though neither of them uses bt). all i have in my devices list is a t630 mobile and even if i get rid of this one it won't let me turn bluetooth off. any ideas?
