Updated: Hot Sauce
Mintsauce (1004 pencils) | Wed, 2008-11-26 17:18I've updated the label. The jar has a circumference of 14.25". The layout has been changed slightly to correct the proportions of both the visible area as well as the font size (Thx to Walks_in2_trees!?!) For JHouse - I've decided to stick with "Caution: Hot!" as a hyperbolical devise. To make it more apt I've added "Ingozi: Umlilo!" which means Danger: Fire!

something looks "off" with your centering now, perhaps you centered your illustration to the object edges instead of by visual priority... For example "Peri-peri" should be centered in the third, but the "home-made" over it should be allowed to hang off the side. The face should be centered on the Peri-Peri ona line down the nose rather than the eye, or the flames or the body.
although, it's hard to tell what "center" is because of the vertical yellow strip. perhaps a photo of the mock-up would clear that up. :)

I agree, something about the centering with the title could be worked on. Otherwise great job. Man, how wide is this container? Maybe I'm just all stuffy because I just finished a season label. Not much room there!

How is this printing? Is this a label?
warning copy is not legible
gradient in fonts.. really?
the artwork does not need to be centered (per above comments); it is a round container.
all that reverse copy worries me (how big is it, how is it printing)
is that supposed to be a nutr facts box?
generally i like it. but i see a couple of areas where there are potential type issues that haven't been pointed out. first, some of that text is going to be tiny. how and it's in a light face printed black on red. i wonder how legible it is when printed. especially if printed on a laser printer and not offset. i also wonder how the "kicks like a donkey, bites like a baboon" text looks when printed.
it may look fine printed, but it looks like it's borderline.
