The updated logo from a previous post. Not much has changed, but I have attempted to get the kerning right this time... The colour has also been tweaked. I haven't changed the fonts, I don't have the ability to make my own font.

The problem for me still exists in the typography clash.

As in the other, kerning is slightly better but again- LI, AI, SI, GR, AP, PH, IC are off in some shape or form. If there's any consolation at all they're display faces (the graffiti even more so) which makes them incredibly difficult to kern.

No need to make your own font, there's tons of online resources such as dafont that will give you fonts that are typically under creative commons licenses to work with and try. If you wanted to get all snazzy you can go to type foundries websites and buy that "perfect" font you like and work from there. Assuming you're working from a Windows or a Mac however most computers come preloaded with a few gems that you can use without even needing to touch the internet.

I really recommend starting with a piece of paper and a pencil and just seeing what you can do as far as logos can go before you get to a computer. You'll come up with some pretty whacky and neat stuff that you wouldn't have dreamed of with software and it takes a fraction of the time as well. Sketching is a good way to see an ideas mettle long before it looks finished and polished in software.

my main problem with it is the way the H and I start to encroach on the r and a. its too close to be apart and too far to be interacting. i say either collide them or enthusiastically or give them a bit more space.

@YoungZM - I'm not too sure if I wanted to change the fonts much, I quite liked the different styles. What other suggestions would you have? The fonts are both from font-squirrel as I know these are free to use in any application. I've tried my best with the kerning, the application I use doesn't allow this to be adjusted so each letter is put in separately and moved about - being new to this I suppose I can't expect it to be perfect!

@wgzn - I do agree entirely with this, I was fiddling around with it a bit but ran out of time to fully adjust it. What is your opinion on overlapping the S and e to the right? I wanted to keep this element, so maybe i need to work on the angle?

both the c and s are fine. the only problem i see with the s is the colors being so similar, the overlap feels kind of uneasy. id try making either: the tow words radically different colors or the exact same.

@wgzn - Any improvement?
