I think there are too many "V"s. It's good to use them emphasized in the logo, but maybe you should tone it down in the type. Maybe all lowercase.
I don't like the pillow under the letter A. It's too subtle and it's enough to have one idea in the logo, which is the double "V".
You can separate the logo and the type more. It doesn't need to touch. It would be more elegant that way.
The pink/ruby color combination is unusual, but maybe if you make the type really thin it would work well. Ruby is sexy and pink is softy. Is that what the logo should communicate?
Softness can be communicated in many ways. One would be to use a feather another would be clouds, etc. You may want to experiment with such more direct symbols.
The first thing I saw when I looked at it was the double-V looked to be a building or city skyline. The hard square edges don't say soft to me.
The same could be said for the type. The forced small caps gives the V in Voyage a different weight than the rest of the letters. It may just be an effect of making this in to a JPG, but the letters in Victor appear to be slightly different weights as well.
My suggestion for the type would be something flowing and light. A script. Perhaps Carpenter, which has a slightly feminine feel to it (despite the name!)
Definitely, I agree with Ivan that there are too many V's, but I also think there are too many ideas in this. The cloudlike "poof" under the A is a place to build this around. Don't make the mistake of thinking you have to use the initials in the logo. That's easy to fall into (I do it myself, sometimes!)
Thanks for the critique. In hindsight what you guys mention makes perfect sense. I'm a programmer who has an interest in design and I'm trying to take it further. (Through study and hobby)
Webdav Victor is all in the same weight, you were right in assuming it was a jpeg compression issue.
I agree with the bad choice of typeface as well. (I didn't spend time looking for a suitable font and it shows)
As for colour choice, originally I was looking for a sexy (ruby) look then i switched to cute (pink).
In this resolution you can't see that the Vv has a rippled outline, I guess that detail was too small stubble.

Good luck with it!
