Tough to see properly (which might tell you something...). Please post larger image.

From success to failure is one step. From failure to success is a long road.

the sun thing is way, way, WAY too detailed. it vibrates even at full size and wont reduce well or translate to embroidery, screen printing or any kind of motion.

and the connectivity in SETT could be read as SEIT SEnT SEN, etc...

i say this calls for a complete rethink. or at least rework

+1 on what wgzn said. It also reminds me of the BP logo, which would not be a good association!

+1, your letterhead also takes up 1/3 of the page on the top. Does this business write on their stationery? If so you may want to provide more room for actual business and less graphic styling- the purposes of stationery are sheerly utilitarian while being professional.

The middle piece actually looks like a mailer, not a letterhead - it's trifolded & sealed without being in an envelope.

Agreed with all others about the logo. Hard to tell from this view but it looks overly elaborate. It already lost its composure by being reduced in your example.

+1 to above. Too much ink on the sun of a green company.

I dont understand, why are too much ink?

wgzn's picture

because as it stands, the lines already blur into each other.

what happens when the logo is printed on some organic recycled paper, animated in video, or needs to be embroidered on a golf shirt? it will just turn to mush.

Agree. Ether do it solid or make it simpler.

I like. The open space and justification makes it look clean.
Sun icon as a grayscale may put more visual focus on the company name.
Nice job.

"Sun icon as a grayscale may put more visual focus on the company name."

wait a second. do you mean representing the sun icon in ANYTHING other than a 100% solid color? it would completely fall apart as a screen even at full size - unless maybe it was printed on glass

No. Just no. The mark now looks to me like one of those paper party fans that unfold into a circle. And +10 (!) to what wgzn said about the technical problems you would have with such a busy logo. It's the sort of thing the kids I used to teach would do in Illustrator as soon as they discovered the Rotate tool and Command + D.

The type treatment is fairly boring and straightforward. Plus even at this tiny size I can see the crossbars on the two Ts are not aligned correctly.

IOW... reboot.

it seems a blemished BP logo and could be at same energy related business and it's not good.
not sexy at all.
