I think it's far better and try other strong "service" font like last "electrical etc" but perhaps more actual.
Look the R and A must be more readable.
I think "meaning" is important in this sector. You need to identify the seller cleary and separate the brand from other electrical service signs like "high voltage caution" etc.

Typeface is REALLY dated. Sharpen up the lighting bolt, add another zigzag to it. Use the negative space.
Maybe the lightning bolt could be the V ?
Is a lightning bolt even a good thing for an electrical service?
Maybe make the O into a socket?

this is a decent approach, as was the original. but id go back to the original and work it a bit more...

Unfortunately, too generic...reminiscent of BOLT the wonderdog. I think you need to revisit the conceptual stage...there's more to be explored here.
