want to know your wish...

Hi Friends,

Back again to seek help from you guys.

For recap... if you remember me, some days back I was here with my designing firm logo eyedealab for you Critiques...
Now we have decided to separate our Logo Design Jobs to a new domain wishalogo.com (Wish A Logo)

I've come up with a logo(rather logotype) after a so many scraps, but need your vote to make it stand.

Thanks!

Thanks!

it's very cutesy...

if you made it sparkle it could be part of a 15 year old girls myspace avatar... this is mainly down to the colour scheme, Butch it up. It's singing my-little-pony as it is.

I quite like the logotype, but would question this much stylisation on a logo for a website selling purely logo design, in my opinion something simpler would suffice, something generic. Let your work do the talking.

like most of your work, its pretty. and its better than most that youve shown so far.

but also like most of your work. there is too much bevel and shadow and sparkle, etc...
if you are selling "logo design" id expect that youd understand that classic logo logic says your logo should work in 100% black, before you go adding all these photoshoppy flourishes.

with that said. i think this logotype may actually be reasonably nice. beneath all that raster-icing...

I agree with Nelson, I feel like the scale of some of the letters are a little off. the h seems really heavy to me compared to the s beside it and the w seems small over all. Just have a look at the weights of letters. Other then that I like the style. I also feel like it would work well with or without the treatments.

Yes - the w appears shorter because of all the round letters to the right. The w x-height is equal to the hunp in the h - so it's the correct size. It just looks smaller on the end by itself. You can just cheat the lower case w up in size a few points to account for the problem. I'd like to see a more prominent w - either take this one up 20% or try a capital W.

Overall, I think this would be a good logo to play with the letters - pull out the h and the l or something. The star over the i has been done a million times - so this really needs some text work also if you want it to be unique.

i just don't like the gradient- it is a little hard to read. what if you wrote it like this

"wish-a-logo"

I feel it emocore if used by a man.
(don't know why, maybe it's so Paris Hilton's fotoblog title for me)
maybe I suffered influence on this critique from my recently trip to Texas where I made new redneck friends.

maybe you need to think about audience reception.

you opted for something excessively cute but why not something serious and still cute. the naming is so cute itself. if you think this cutie star related = "success" or "you touch the sky", maybe the most of people can feel this star as "this is so glitter to my enterprise".
