Your illustration is well done, but when I think of Tuscany ancient stoneworks, the sea, and rolling hillsides spring to mind. I find this web page a little dark and ominous for such a beautiful area. You've got a good start with the rolling hillsides, but I'd drop the black and replace with billowy clouds and blue skies.

Agreed on the colors. I also think the website is too wide. I usually try to stick to 800-1000px wide max, though some would beg to differ on this. :)
