Web Graphics
Abdul (576 pencils) | Wed, 2005-05-04 21:22Guys, I don't know why I'm asking this but here goes.
'I' and I assume 'most' people, create all their images and graphics for screen/web (72dpi) in Photoshop. Now sometimes, I realise it gives me a little blur (pixelates), and I was wondering whether if I was to create the image in Illustrator (or any other vector package) and then export it to Photoshop and size down whatever, will that work? Like give me crisp images/text?
Anyone got any ideas? Just that in Photoshop, sometimes I find my text blurs a little at smaller sizes. When it's large like over 16 points, it's ok but when I go below 8, argh, it gets ugly. Y'all know what I'm saying right?

Turn off your anti aliasing in PS. it's the lowercase "aa" icon in your character palette.

When using Photoshops - Save for Web, if you go below 55-60 quality, text starts to loose detail around the edges. Try and stay at 60+ if you can.

And if it isn't a picture, it should be a GIF, that does help too.
