I like it, a couple of comments. The red bar with "interview with the vampire written by jerry scott, doesn't fit the mood you are giving the whole thing. There is not clear hierarchy, my eyes are draw to many places at the same time.
I really like the background with Brad Pitt's image, but I think the elements are not well positioned, the DVD case seems to just be place in there.
Hope that help!

I'd also begin at another frame of the movie, or see if there's a way of moving that "play" arrow from Brad Pitt's left nostril (his left).
Also, the title: Sexy up that INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE--try the font Sabien; unless the pages are all to have similar titles and text bodies?
Otherwise, great looking work.

yeah I'd kill the transparency on the title bar, maybe try a darker red, I don't see what else you could do with the DVD cover, it should be prominent, but is this a dvd retail site or a review site or what? a retail site could have a thumb of the case where a review site might want the instant recognition you could try to size to match the bottom of the video clip, that should still be big enough to recognize the image on the DVD cover.
I like the swirls rising from the candle though, that's a nice touch.
