TripDragon, this is more like a forum topic or even a weblink.
I read the stories earlier on stylegala and cssbeauty, its sad that sites like these feel the need to close, but CB is different imo, and I hope CB wont be going anywhere anytime soon!

as for the sale of sites, that's just the helm of the group getting gready. I HOPE CB is different.There's few solid design sites like this.
i was going to suggest taking a peek at www.styleboost.com but they're in the midst of changing things.. hopefully their end product will be as good or better then what it was before.

We're not giving up.. And beside I'm out of towels and not planning on a refill either..
I guess the reason is why we're not posting 10 articles per day we are either busy with our lifes, work, various projects , development and we always spend time making our articles being good in quality..
Personally I've got loads of designing, development todo for the next version of Creativebits and it's taken much more time then we orginally thought in order to get it up and running, but I guess it will be good when it comes out.. I also got like 5 articles waiting to be finished and get images for them..
Just my two cents..
What I think of it? The CSS showcases were mostly created to show that one can design sexy sites with CSS. CreativeBits isn't like that at all. CB is a place for designers and Mac people to devour yet more design- and/or Apple-related things.
It's not a comparison at all :)
boingboing linked an article on AotW, which is on the same dedicated server as creativebits. Shortly after many other blogs linked it too, so the server got slashdotted. It's ok now.
Selling cb? I thought about it some time ago, because I didn't have enough time to write posts and I didn't want the great community we have here to fall apart. But than I got help from tigerstorm, kbahey, afterglow, jammo and several other members.
I'll try to help out as best I can. I'm relatively new to CreativeBits and haven't really been pulling my weight due to my degree portfolio hand-in hanging over my head up until today.
Now I have more time on my hands I'll be a much more active member. My blog needs filling too, it's been a while so I'll see if I come up with anything for postings on here.
My blog is at http://seholtaway.blogspot.com but the language isn't exactly right for this site. A bit too tongue-in-cheek, perhaps.
