good god! this again ; )
its the best so far! but the big ovals on the end make it look like a black moor (fish) as viewed from the underside...
see:

I don't have a problem with the ovals; I'm more bothered by the clover looking ends of the middle... I would work on those and maybe make them a little more loopy/organic instead of a solid shape.
So the text would be part of the mark? I would suggest making it slightly smaller so it lines up with the edge of the ovals... it's so close already that it is kind of distracting having it be longer.
wgzn i sooo needed that laugh - thanks! and i totally see the fish :-)
tr - ur right, text totally needs to be lined up and really its the fleur de lis that bothering me - i went the fast route and just used a font for it - gonna go mess with the shape of it
thanks n happy easter!
cleaned it up a little and changed the website font... yea? ney??
I see woman reproductive organs, don't know it this is good or bad... but certainly I'm not fan of this in particular too much oldschool approach.
yes I'm brazilian xD
Whew! I saw it too... glad I'm not the only one!
i dont really agree that the text has to align with the outside of the mark. i think that making it even leaves the composition overly static.
the top fishy version of this is better. but i would:
- find a version of the fleur de lis. less involved than the first. but more than the second:
(do a google image search. i found some good stuff right out of the gate)
- go back to the first typeface. but make open up the letterspacing and try making it less wide than the mark
have you tried playing with WWN? that may deliver some entertaining visual results...
Looks a little Grandpa Munster to me.
Maybe you should move on from the fleur de lis and try other ideas?
grandpa munster lmao - yall come up with the craziest things... the client wants a fleur de lis... but maybe its a good idea to just show em something different and maybe theyll like it! im really ready to just get er done - im apparently not a logo designer, ya get what ya pay for and its getting done for free, so i figure whatever i give em is good... it just bothers me that nothing i come up with is any good... fish and munsters ;-)
The RSVP was good. If you don't use it, I'm probably going to steal it some day.
If they want the fleur thing - how about combining the W and the fleur into one clever mark?
Just an idea.
no need to steal, ill send u the file if ya want it, lol... yeah i kinda half ass tried to combine em in the one above
This may be a bad idea, but I'll just throw this out there for you to try:
Use Wedding or Webs as your main logo and turn the W into a satin-like ribbon with a knot in the middle. You know the saying "tying the knot"? This may be a simpler idea to execute.
love the idea of it - just dont really get how to execute that :-( trust me the client is waaaay less picky - its me that im trying to please and i have a while to play with it so who knows :-)
