what DVD R to buy?

DVD are getting so cheap that I gotta start burning images on DVD
instead of cd's.

I have a dual G5 2.0 gigs.....what's the difference in DVDs??

DVD-R or DVD+R?
what's the best to burn on Mac and have compatibility
with PeeCees??

At macconnection.com they sell 50 dvd for $27.95!!!

As far as I know and tried it has to be definitely DVD-R. Regarding brands I tried different ones and all worked, except for Sony. Recently I bought a 10pack of noname brand for just 10USD and they work fine.

I'd stick to good name brands. They will most likely last longer and have less errors and be more compatible in DVD players (movies) etc. I got a 50pk. spindle of Maxell DVD-R for only $25CDN ($20 US) at my local Best Buy!

I use those and they seem to work fine on my G5 and eMac
