Have you tried http://www.linotype.com/fontidentifier?start=1 You can search for fonts there, hope that may help. It does look familiar though, so I recokon it is quite a common font.
Available here http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/agfa-rotis-semi-serif/
But the corners on the Charles Harding version seem to be rounded?
Upload an image of the font you want to identify to http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ & it comes back with a list of possibles. It's worked perfectly every time I've used it.
This absolutely rules. It didn't find what I needed it to, but it linked me to www.identifont.com/ which asked me questions regarding a font I needed to find-- It found it!!!!!
I recreate fonts/search for/etc every day so I'm really excited about this.
I've used IdentiFont and a few other similar sites for years, but this one blew me away! Very cool and a real timesaver. Thanks!

I had a minute, so I checked my archive. Rotis SemiSerif Bold is as close as you are going to get.
terry(at)e-zign(dot)com if you'd like to check it out.

I agree. Looks like a bold Rotis.

I will add that I uploaded two fonts that were very complex to What the Font and it worked perfectly on both of them. This website is amazing!
