The ps3 controllers look awful but who knows. The design is kinda simple a little too simple if you ask me. But its whats under the hood that counts.

As for the PS3 logo type. AWFUL, blatently ripping of the spider-man typeface. Give us a break, it looks good for spider-man thats it, its been done before.

Given those options, I'll pick Xbox360, but I'll probably get a Nintendo Revolution first. The PS3 looks all style and no substance, just like the PS2. That controller looks ghetto.

Being a huge fan of the original xbox and xbox live, I will most likely get the xbox 360 as the tech specs are both pretty similar. As for the nintendo revolution, that will probably be my 2nd next gen console just because of nintendo's exclusive games and finally online play for them.

I have a thing against Microsoft, I don't like to support them. I only buy their products as a last option for something extremely important..

Xbox only got as popular as it did because of Halo. PS2 had all the cool games. The PS3 controller looks different ...but the only thing that matters is how it feels in your hand. If it's anything like the PS1/2 controllers feel it'll rock. The Xbox controller was a big fat mess.

xboxes make great media-centers! a minor mod and voila, a nice network hd, a media-player, al ready to hook up to your tv & stereo! :-)

Is it just me who wants Gran Turismo 5 on a PS3 atm?

C'mon... stats don't matter. The games are where it's at. If all the next-gen systems came out at once I'd have to get the Revolution first. There's just no beating those Nintendo exclusives.

I also know I'll have to get a PS3 because it will have games I will want (they /already/ announced Devil May Cry 4). Admittedly the hardware IS pretty impressive sounding, and with Blu-Ray and full HD 1080p support, it will probably also replace my Progressive-Scan DVD player.

I have been an XBox fan but I for one am biased towards performance and game imagery and I think the PS3 might have something better than the XBox besides the fact that the industrial designers did a pi** poor job of designing the XBox vs the PS3 which is kicks a** but I must say... sh** whats with the Spiderman font. That just blows. Couldn't they come up with something original?

But overall I think I will wait till the PS3 comes out and then decide which one to buy. I might just get the XBox 360 in the end even if the hardware design sucks. Who knows... lets see.
