I love the dark mood, but I think that its time to change....
i kinda like the dark better... it's more soothing to the eye. the concrete is nice though.

looks like concrete is winning...
Concrete all the way!
Would be nice to see a sky blue alternative though.
i like the sky cyan theme idea. and i was thinking about flamingo pink too.
Yup, see what you can cook up chef!
Should I start refereing to sky blue as cyan now? Is that the right term/word for it when talking in design terms? ('ey?)
not a design term, it's just my wording.
Ok dude, just making sure. Like they say, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. ;)
ask away!
Please help us save the endangered Tarmac!!! LOL
Hehe it seems the rebel on the bright side of CreatibeBits (Concrete) are not leading the poll anymore..
How many times did you click Tiger? ;)
He he I wouldn't cheat!
I'm a lazy typer and I always click on your bookmark in safari.
Your favicon used to stand out from the "no name blue balls" favicons in the safari bookmarks section, now it's harder to spot it!!

Oh a new favicon.. didn't spot that!
Why a new favicon Ivan?
good catch guys. just replaced it with the cb favicon.
um excuse my ignorance...im at work on a pc and i cant see how you change the creativebits theme? any help? thank you...
You need to log-in and than you can change the theme in your account. If you don't have an account yet, you can register.
I'm really quite happy that you kept the "cb" logo.
Like the arrow defined by negative space in the FedEx logo, once you "see" the "c" and the "b" in the CreativeBits logo, you can't NOT see the letters.
Simple, logical, clean, unique.
Oh God, what a morning! Meh, I can now see a 'c' and a 'b' in that tetris thing! Wow, I have to say, that's a really memorable logo Ivan. Very unique indeed.
I can't believe people are prefering the tarmac theme to the concrete!?
very cool :)
p.s. I like the black and gray one.. I assume that's tarmac.
yes. tarmac is default. concrete is optional to choose for registered users.
Go the tarmac! I always did like the dark scheme.
With a name like that, what else would one expect. ;)
Thanks!
Both are nice, but i think Tarmac is just a tad too dark.
hmmm... i woted for tarmac... but in the name of having an open mind, i'm trying the concrete... and it's very nice as well :)
In my opinion, if Concrete had a bit more contrast between lettering and background, it would be easier to read.
Since you made it for us 'I like to read dark text on light background' types, part of the criteria for that preference is that the text stand out strongly from its background.
I find Concrete hard to read because it's a darker shade of grey on a lighter shade of grey.
Still like it though!
I welcome rebuttals to these particular two cents. Great site conversion overall!

It's a tough call. I like both, but I prefer Tarmac because the I think the content is (marginally) easier to read.
Concrete. I like positive text. Although I wouldn't mind even stronger contrast between text and background ...

I made the body text darker on concrete. Hope it's ok now.
It's * VERY OK* !!!

Is it available?
There are small things I'd like to fix before releasing.
its one of my favourites
Thank you everybody for the votes and comments. It's hard to please many different tastes, while keeping the vision of CB in sight, but I'd like to see CB as a democratic community, where you have a say in the future developments and operation of CB, so please do vote and express your opinion in similar polls.
I can see that both the dark and light themes are liked almost equally. They will need some improvement though.
Also, many people didn't like either theme or want to see more to choose from. I have several themes in mind, but as a first step I'm thinking to do a flex layout for both of the existing two themes. Later on I want to do the flamingo (pink) and sky (light blue) themes, which are going to be feminine and clean in contrast with the heavy and masculine existing themes. (If you'd like to work on one of the clean themes in PS let me know. I guess I would need to write a brief for you though.)
sorry, I know this is late, but I was stuck with exams and all..
How bout a orange/yellow scheme with a contrasting blue hightlights theme??
