I draw pictures for the local newspaper each week... and I'm thinking about changing the style a little bit... but just to see what people think, i'm making an un-official survey.
Which kind do you like better? left or right?

I like the simplicity of the left one. If I was you, I would simplify it even more. Just smoothening out some lines. I like the colors on this one better too.
The right one is almost like a photo, doesn't look like an illustration anymore. Definitely too much detail on the shoulders.

those are really cool.
i'm fairly new into illustration... this project just popped into my hands last spring, and i'm working on it as I go, so thanks for any comments you can spare! only problem with these pics is that according to the money I get for them, I spend 1 hour tops on each one... if i had more time (money) I'd make'em nicer! :)
