Why in the world is creating url links so difficult?!?!?!?

I design a magazine and most of the ads. How can I save/export all of the files from InDesign so that I don't have to go thru each page in Acrobat and create links? And is there a trick to Acrobat creating links from urls when the page number was on a master page? HELP?!?!?!?

You can use the Hyperlinks panel to easily create URLs out of your text. It allows you to save them and apply them to text just like you can any object style.

Go to Window>Interactive>Hyperlinks - it should be self-explanatory from there.

Only thing I'd add is that when you then export the pdf, check the Include, Hyperlinks option in the export to pdf screen.
