Window Pull Down Menu in Photoshop Question

Hi. Working on a catalgoue today and have opened a bunch of random photos in which each one is numbered rather than word-described. My dilemma: I need to apply a filter only to certain ones. Is there a way from the pulldown tab itself, or a plug-in available, to view thumbnails of these images alongside the names on the tab?
Action, then File/Automate/Batch...
Yes! Create an action. Put all the images you want to affect in their own folder. Then go to File/Automate/Batch... and use your action in that batch and choose Save and Close and a new destination folder. I usually call this new folder RETOUCH, but it's up to you.

Sorry, misread your post!
Sorry, misread your post! Just use Preview on the images; gives a handy tray to the right showing all the images, and the preview of the image on the left, main screen.
I was giving you instructions for actually performing ps actions on a group of files, not for viewing them. :)

Oh yeah. Anytime you have a repetitive task on three or more files, consider creating an action for it and running File/Automate/Batch...
